Using masking to best advantage;

(Reference taking from a watercolor painting which now I´m working with markers)
The following painting was made from a existen wáter color painting so this a reproduction, which main purpose is to be reflected through markers utilization
The mask was necessary to mask the sun´s reflection in wáter and through some areas at the foliage, I had to make more soluble the mask because on this paper bond so heavely and can damage the surface

 

Again I sart making use of clear warmer and cold greys in a surface previously protect with mask trough tiny áreas I want to protect since the begining

After all was dry I emphasized the light in the brambles with added White acrylic paint the sky was so bright in the área of mask

After remove the mask the dark áreas were already set, finally I added some colors to the scene to completed, This time I use yellow phosphorecent marker , to check and highlight some áreas to complete sun light effect
